The first wave of NFL Free Agency is official over, and the Tennessee Titans made a plethora of moves to address positions of needs.

If you want to view my thoughts on each major signing, click here, but for now, we’re going to run a 4-Round Titans Mock Draft after the first wave of free agency!

Round 1, Pick 1: Cam Ward, QB Miami

There should be zero argument with this pick. Ward is starting to pull away as the top quarterback on most draft boards, as his dynamic skillset and productive senior season at Miami in 2024 have put him in a position to be the No.1 overall pick.

The Titans' lone quarterback move this offseason has been letting Mason Rudolph walk and signing Brandon Allen to a one-year deal. Will Levis and Allen are the only quarterbacks currently on Tennessee’s roster. That will change on April 24th when Mike Borgonzi and Chad Brinker turn the card in and make Cam Ward the next Tennessee Titan.

TRADE WITH SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

SEA RECEIVES: Pick 35

TEN RECEIVES: Pick 50, 2025 3rd round pick (Pick 82) 2026 5th round pick

The Titans have just two top 100 picks right now, and with the amount of needs the team has, that’s just not enough. Trading back in Round 2 to get a Round 3 pick would be masterful move by Borgonzi and Brinker.

Round 2, Pick 50: JT Tuimoloau, EDGE Ohio State

Tuimoloau had a productive 2024 campaign for the Buckeyes, totaling 12.5 sacks and 51 quarterback pressures in 17 games. The 21-year-old has a versatile pass-rushing skillset and was a pivotal piece to Ohio State’s National Championship-winning team in 2024.

The Titans signed Dre’Mont Jones in free agency, and though I like the signing, it can’t be the only significant move Tennessee makes at edge rusher, especially with Harold Landry’s departure. Tuimoloau won’t be a Pro Bowl-level player immediately, but the Washington native would be a nice addition to Dennard Wilson’s defense and compete for a starting spot.

Round 3, Pick 82: Jalen Royals, WR Utah State

Royals has the versatility to play in the slot and on the outside and is very well-rounded player who uses his strength to be a difference-maker in the open field.

The 22-year-old posted 834 yards and six touchdowns in seven games for Utah State last year and is one of the most underrated prospects in the 2025 draft class. Royals would pair well with Calvin Ridley and give Brian Callahan’s offense a powerful receiver who is fantastic in the red zone and also has under-the-radar speed.

Round 4, Pick 103: Andrew Mukuba, Safety Texas

Signing Xavier Woods to a cheap two-year deal was a savvy move by Borgonzi and Brinker, but the Titans desperately need some youth at safety. Mukuba snagged five interceptions and allowed just a 12.1 passer rating when targeted for Texas in 2024 and was arguably the best coverage safety in the nation.

Mukuba is an inconsistent run-defender, but the 22-year-old’s playmaking ability in coverage and aggressive playstyle makes him an ideal fit in Dennard Wilson’s attacking defense.

Round 4, Pick 120: Tory Horton, WR Colorado State

Horton played in just five games during his senior season due to a knee injury but still posted two straight campaigns with over 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns in 2022 and 2023.

When healthy, Horton is a dynamic playmaker who can play in the slot and out wide. The 22-year-old also has tremendous size at 6’3 and is a smooth route runner with reliable hands, as he dropped just one pass last season and four passes in 2023. Walking out of the draft with Royals and Horton in your wide receiver room would be awesome for the Titans.
