Five Bold predictions for the 2024-25 NFL Season!

Though the 2024 NFL Season is still over 90 days away, the excitement is starting to build. All 32 teams have officially begun OTAs and are preparing for the upcoming season. I know it's still incredibly early, but let's run through some bold predictions for the upcoming NFL campaign.

Will Levis and the Titans make the playoffs

Tennessee arguably had the best offseason in the NFL, acquiring cornerback L'Jarius Sneed, wide receiver Calvin Ridley, center Lloyd Cushenberry, and many others. Though many believe the Titans will be scratching and clawing for six or seven wins, I believe Will Levis will take the next step and lead the two-tone blue to a playoff spot. The 24-year-old was put in an impossible situation last year with an awful offensive line and lackluster wide receiver corp. This year, Levis has multiple dynamic weapons, including Calvin Ridley, Deandre Hopkins, and Tyler Boyd, and has an offensive head coach in Brian Callahan. Additionally, Tennessee fixed the disaster left tackle situation with the selection of JC Latham seventh overall. If Levis can play clean, mistake-free football, the Titans will find themselves in the playoffs.

The Bills miss the playoffs and finish 2nd in the AFC East

Buffalo lost multiple key pieces to their contending team this offseason, including wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, safeties Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer, center Mitch Morse, linebacker Tyrel Dodson, and cornerback Tre'Davious White. Despite these losses, Buffalo still has Josh Allen, which gives them a chance to win every single game. They will continue to be a highly competitive team, but the offseason losses, aging defense, and inexperienced wide receiver corp will be their downfall. The Bills will finish 9-8 and miss the postseason for the first time since 2018.

Puka Nacua leads the league in receiving yards

Nacua had a record-breaking rookie season, tallying 105 receptions for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns. The 23-year-old has already formed a formidable connection with quarterback Matthew Stafford, and this year, they'll take it to another level. Though many will choose Tyreek Hill or Justin Jefferson to lead the league in receiving yards, the former BYU Cougar Puka Nacua will lead the NFL in receiving yards with over 1,800.

Kirk Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons reach the NFC Championship Game

Atlanta has lacked competent quarterback play since the departure of Matt Ryan. With the addition of Kirk Cousins, who played at Pro Bowl level before his injury last year, this Falcons offense, led by Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts, will take the next step. If the defense led by Grady Jarrett, AJ Terrell, and Jesse Bates can play at an above-average level, Atlanta has the pieces to reach the NFC Championship Game.

Jared Goff and the Lions win the Super Bowl

The Lions should've been in the Super Bowl last year, as they choked a 17-point halftime lead to the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. Though many have their doubts about Jared Goff, the 29-year-old was one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the NFL last year and has a fantastic team around him. Detroit bolstered their secondary with the additions of Carlton Davis and Terrion Arnold, and added DJ Reader on the interior of the defensive line. The offense ranked top-five in points per game (27.4) and yards per game (394.0) last year and are returning most of their starters. Kansas City and San Fransico will pose a major threat to Detroit in 2024, but in the end, Dan Campbell and the Lions will hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
