Harold Landry’s recent Resurgence a welcoming sight for Titans

Tennessee Titans OLB Harold Landry suffered a devastating torn ACL during Tennessee's 2022 training camp, which caused him to miss the entire 2022-23 season. Despite this, Landry expressed complete confidence that he would return to his old self in 2023, stating at this year's Titans' training camp that his knee felt "damn-near perfect" and that he was stronger and faster than ever (Credit to Titans FN). After an incredibly sluggish start to the season, Landry has turned it on as of late and has arguably been the Titans' best defense player since the team's week seven bye week!

Before the bye week, Harold Landry's numbers looked pedestrian and below average. The former Boston College standout tallied just two sacks, two TFLs, and three QB hits in the season's first six weeks. But ever since Tennessee's week seven bye, Landry has started to look more and more like his old self. Since week eight, Harold has registered six and a half sacks, seven TFLs, and 13 QB hits. Landry's three-sack performance on MNF against the Dolphins catapulted him to winning AFC Defensive Player of the Week. The OLB also notched the game-winning sack on Dolphins' QB Tua Tagovailoa in the fourth quarter to win the game for Tennessee. Landry not only displayed to the football world that he could still perform at a Pro-Bowl level but also reassured the Titans that his five-year, $87 million extension wasn't a waste...

After his ACL injury and underwhelming play to begin 2023, it seemed as if all hope was lost for Harold Landry. His $87 million extension was on its way to becoming another brutal Jon Robinson mishap, and his future in Nashville looked bleak. But whatever the former Boston College star did during the bye week worked like a charm because Landry's explosion off the ball and obsession with getting to the QB has been ELITE since November began. His resurgence is a welcoming sight for the Titans now and for the future...
