NBA Free agency: Day one losers

It all begins with an idea.

We did winners earlier today, now we look at the losers of free agency..

Portland Trailblazers: The Blazers are the biggest losers of NBA Free Agency for the sole fact that they gave Jerami Grant a $160 million dollar contract. Sacramento Kings: The Kings had a ton of money to spend in free agency, and many thought that they would make a big move with that cash. That was not the case as all they did was resign Barnes and Lyles, and traded for Chris Duarte. They still have time to use the rest of their money, but I really thought there would be a big splash in Northern California.

Houston Rockets. They gave Fred VanVleet more money than Kyrie Irving, that is an automatic loss. Chicago Bulls: The Bulls being considered a loser may be harsh because the contracts they gave out were cheap and reasonable, but this team is just begging to become the new Wizards. The Wizards were stuck in basketball purgatory for a while until they blew it up this offseason, and I fear the Bulls are headed that way as well. They kept the exact same roster as last year, and are paying guys they should just let walk. The need to hit the rebuild button, but will they before it’s to late…..
