The Tennessee Titans Season is OFFICIALLY Over!

The Tennessee Titans dropped to 3-7 today after another demoralizing loss on the road. For the third consecutive week, the Titans were outcoached, outplayed, and showed little effort. Though some are still holding out some hope that this season could be fixed, I hate to inform you that the Titans' Season officially ended today!

The Titans are the second-worst team in the AFC, behind the 2-8 New England Patriots. Any chance of making the playoffs hit rock bottom today after the Titans' second divisional loss. Tennessee would have to win out and get help to qualify for the postseason, which isn't happening in any universe. Now that we've established that the Titans won't be playing meaningful football in January let's talk about where this season went wrong for the Two-Tone Blue...

The Titans' roster is awful, as their prominent playmakers have become ineffective due to some units on the team being horrendous. Derrick Henry, Deandre Hopkins, and Will Levis are capable of making plays and winning football games, but they're unable to do so because of this horrid offensive line. The Titans' O-Line is making great football players look incompetent and is the clear liability of this football team. The drop-back passing game is no longer effective in Tennessee due to the limitations up front. Though the offensive line and players aren't doing the Titans any favors, Mike Vrabel and the coaching staff shouldn't be left off the hook either...

The Tennessee Titans are undisciplined and don't come ready to play, and that's on the coaching staff. Vrabel hasn't coached this team well, but his coordinators have also been disappointing. Before the season began, DC Shane Bowen seemed destined to land a head coaching job in the near future, but he has regressed heavily this season. Tim Kelly has tried his best to coordinate an offense with holes everywhere on the offensive line, but his conservative playcalling can sometimes be frustrating. Lastly, Mike Vrabel is turning into public enemy number one in Nashville. The fundamental principles he preaches daily are being neglected, and this team no longer embodies who their head coach is...

Long story short, the Titans' problems aren't just solely on the players or coaches. The roster is deprived of talent, but the coaches haven't been able to put these players in spots to succeed. Mike Vrabel has underperformed as Titans' HC this season, but he's not the one blocking the defensive ends and covering the wide receivers. The players aren't outstanding, and the coach is getting exposed as a result. These problems won't be fixed this season, so let's play it out and look forward to 2024...
