The New HC of the Tennessee Titans: Brian Callahan

The coaching search has concluded, and the Titans couldn't have made a better decision. Tennessee hired Bengals' OC Brian Callahan as the team's next head coach today, and this was absolutely the correct hire by Ran Carthon and Amy Adams Strunk!

Callahan has been the Bengals' OC since 2019 and has been an integral part of Cincinnati's recent offensive resurgence under HC Zac Taylor and QB Joe Burrow. Though he doesn't directly call the offensive plays, Callahan establishes the structure of the Bengals' offense and has been called "invaluable" by HC Zac Taylor (Video). Under Callahan, Cincinnati has come within the Top Ten in scoring offense twice and has performed well no matter who is in or out of the lineup with injuries. Though some may question this hire by Carthon and Strunk, let me tell you why this is the ideal coaching hire for the Two-Tone Blue!

Callahan has worked with and coached many elite QBs, including Peyton Manning, Matthew Stafford, and Joe Burrow. The biggest winner of this hire is none other than Mayo Man. Will Levis' development should be the top priority moving forward, and there's no better coach than Callahan for this task. The 39-year-old will also renovate Tennessee's ancient offensive system and modernize it to fit the league's recent aerial resurgence. Be excited, Titans fans, because Callahan is in TOWN!!
