Tennessee Titans Poised to Breakout in 2024!
The Tennessee Titans had an extremely active offseason, vigorously working to bolster a roster that has suffered back-to-back losing seasons. Though the newcomers will have a major impact on the Titans' success in 2024, there are a few returning players who are poised to breakout and play prominent roles on the team this season. With that being said, here are the Titans' four breakout candidates for the 2024-25 campaign.

Quarterback Will Levis
After an up-and-down rookie season, Will Levis enters year two with a much better formula for success. The 25-year-old's supporting cast was awful in 2023, as the offensive line struggled in pass protection, and the receiving corps was lackluster outside of Deandre Hopkins. After a successful offseason, which saw general manager Ran Carthon supply the young signal-caller with veteran playmakers Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd and an improved offensive line with JC Latham, Lloyd Cushenberry, and Saahdiq Charles, a year-two breakout for the talented Levis is on the horizon.

Left Guard Peter Skoronski
Skoronski had a tumultuous rookie season, as the 22-year-old had to deal with subpar left tackle play and an early season appendectomy. Despite these obstacles, the No.11 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft showed flashes of dominance in his rookie season and allowed just eight pressures in the final four games of his rookie campaign. Skoronski will look to establish himself as a building block for Tennessee's future in 2024 and to form a formidable duo with No.7 overall pick JC Latham on the left side of the Titans' offensive line.

Running Back Tyjae Spears
Though the acquisition of Tony Pollard will take snaps away from Tyjae Spears, the former Tulane standout should still have an increased workload compared to last season in 2024. On a limited workload, Spears was one of the best players on the Titans' offense in 2023, totaling 837 scrimmage yards, snagging 52 receptions, and averaging 4.5 yards per carry. Behind an improved offensive line and less predictability in the rushing attack due to the departure of Derrick Henry, Tyjae Spears could be in for a breakout season and form an electric duo with newcomer Tony Pollard.

Cornerback Roger McCreary
McCreary quietly had an impressive 2023 campaign, scoring a 72.2 PFF coverage grade, totaling 33 defensive stops, and allowing an 87.3 passer rating when targeted. With the additions of L'Jarius Sneed and Chidobe Awuzie, McCreary will now be able to play almost all of his snaps in the slot corner position, where he thrives best. Another impressive campaign from McCreary in 2024 could land the former Auburn Tiger a lucrative contract extension next offseason.
