Five Offensive Linemen the Titans should target in Free Agency!

Offensive line is the consensus number-one need for the Titans this offseason. The unit surrendered a league-high 49 sacks and was PFF's worst O-Line of 2023. If GM Ran Carthon wants QB Will Levis to flourish in his second year, he must prioritize retooling this awful unit this offseason. Here are five offensive linemen Tennessee should target in free agency!

Mike Onwenu, OT

Since entering the league in 2020, Onwenu has been one of the most underrated players in the NFL. The former Michigan Wolverine primarily operates at RT but has experience playing three of the five O-Line positions and would provide much-needed versatility. The 26-year-old has made his mark as a pass protector, never allowing more than three sacks in a single season and scoring a 75.0 pass-blocking grade in 2023. Onwenu is also lethal in the run game, posting a 70+ run-blocking grade in his first four seasons. The 6'3, 350-pound OT mauls defenders in the run-and-pass game and would be a long-term solution for the Titans at right tackle.

Lloyd Cushenberry, C

After a rocky and inconsistent first three seasons, Cushenberry had a breakthrough 2023 season and established himself as one of the better centers in the NFL. The former LSU Tiger allowed one sack and 13 QB pressures last season while also excelling in the run game, posting a 72.4 run-blocking grade. Aaron Brewer's pass-blocking deficiencies were tough to watch in 2023, and it is vital Tennessee finds a plus pass protector at the position. Cushenberry should be a top candidate for the job!

Kevin Dotson, GUARD

After being traded to the Rams from the Steelers, Dotson blossomed in Sean McVay's offense and had a career season. The 27-year-old allowed four sacks and 20 QB pressures in 881 snaps during the 2023 season and posted a 73.6 pass-blocking grade. Dotson's pass blocking is rock solid, but his performance in the run game was even more impressive. The former Louisiana standout boasted the HIGHEST run-blocking grade for guards in 2023 at 88.8. Daniel Brunskill was above-average last season, but if Ran Carthon is serious about revitalizing the offensive line, above-average is replaceable...

Tyler Biadasz, C

Throwing all the best and most expensive players on the list would be unrealistic and boring. Though Biadasz isn't as good as Cushenberry, he's another center who would be an upgrade over Aaron Brewer. The 26-year-old allowed three sacks and posted a 61.9 pass-block grade in 2023. Biadasz is also reliable in the run game, putting forth a 68.1 run-blocking grade. The former fourth-round pick is an imperfect player with flaws but could be a low-risk, high-reward signing!

Jon Runyan, GUARD

The former sixth-round pick played both guard positions in Green Bay and is an adequate pass protector on the interior of the offensive line. The 26-year-old allowed two sacks and 21 QB pressures in 2023 and posted a 72.3 pass-blocking grade. Though he excels in pass protection, Runyan leaves much to be desired in the run game, boasting an abysmal 50.4 run-blocking grade with eight blown blocks. Another imperfect player Tennessee could take a gamble on...
