The Titans are entering their biggest regular season game under Vrabel against the Steelers

The Titans picked up a pivotal victory at home versus the Falcons this past Sunday, and this season has been rejuvenated for Tennessee. Rookie QB Will Levis debuted before the Nashville faithful and had the best Titans' QB performance of the past three years. Tennessee won't have time to rejoice over this victory, as they are headed to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers on Thursday Night Football. Though many believe this a regular TNF game at the beginning of November, it's actually the biggest regular season game of the Mike Vrabel Era for the Titans...

Last week, we saw Will Levis light up the Falcons for 239 yards and four touchdowns. Levis was phenomenal, but we've seen many QBs look outstanding in their debut game and ultimately fall off the face of the Earth. Marcus Mariota is a prominent example, but it also happened to Baker Mayfield back in 2018. If Levis wants to prove to Ran Carthon that he is the QB of the future, then he has to defeat this formidable Steelers team in primetime. Mike Vrabel and Carthon will see if Levis has what it takes to be a Franchise QB this Thursday, but they'll also get an idea of what the second half of the season has in store for the Two-Tone Blue...

The 2019 Tennessee Titans are one of the more underrated teams of this NFL Era. Started 2-4, benched Mariota for Ryan Tannehill, and reached the AFC Championship Game! Though this 2023 Titans team isn't as talented as the 2019 team, they could go on that type of run with Levis under center. If the Titans lose on Thursday, the season is over. If they find a way to defeat a Steelers team with a vigorous defense, the season is very much alive...

Long story short, it's a must-win for the Titans on the road in Pittsburgh. Mike Vrabel has never coached in a bigger regular-season game, as this road contest will dictate the rest of the season for Tennessee. Win and playoff talk will start to ramp up. Lose, then the offseason and draft talk will commence. And most important of all: Is Mayo Man the future of the Tennessee Titans?? We'll find out on November 2nd..
