Bold Predictions for the Titans final Preseason game

With the Titans’ final preseason game in the coming days, here are some bold predictions for the Friday Night Clash vs the Patriots… (Also: Prayers for Caleb Farley)

Chestnut will rush for over 100 yards

Julius Chestnut has arguably been the Titans’ best offense player in the preseason, as he is leading the team in rushing yards and total TDs. On Friday, Chestnut will solidify his roster spot with an 100 yard rushing day, finishing his strong preseason on the highest of the highs. Though Spears will be the RB2, Chestnut should be a great change of pace back who will provide value everywhere around the field. This is the first time in a two years that the Titans will have great RB depth behind the King himself!!

Josh Whyle will catch a TD

Its been a rough preseason for the rookie tight end so far, but he can make many forget about the past two games with a good performance tomorrow night. Whyle has caught just three balls in the preseason, and has been responsible for a couple key Titans turnovers. The big 6’7 Tight End has potential, but hasn’t been able to show much so far. Expect Whyle to have a solid game on Friday and find paydirt for the first time in his young career…

Will Levis will lead a Game Winning Drive

Levis is expected to make his return this Friday after missing last week with a thigh injury. The former WildCat had an up and down debut against Chicago, as he threw a game ending interception in the fourth quarter to Defensive Back Bralen Trahan. Will also should some good things though, as he led a nice TD drive that ended in a Hassan Haskins touchdown. This week, Levis should split the snaps with Malik Willis once again, and if the Titans are in position to win the game late in the fourth quarter, number eight will redeem himself!!

Reggie Roberson Jr. will earn the 6th receiver spot

The Titans sixth receiver spot has been one of the more entertaining training camp battles this year. We know who the first five receivers are going to be: DHop, Burks, Philips, Moore, and NWI. It feels like this sixth spot has had someone different in it every week. One week its Mason Kinsey, another week its Roberson Jr., and another week it’s Colton Dowell. Reggie Roberson will end all the speculation on Friday, and have a roster setting performance under the lights. Expect at least four catches from the former Mustang, and a earned roster spot when it’s all said and done!!

Training Camp and Preseason is almost over, meaning the NFL Regular Season is on the horizon. Cut Day is very soon, and we will be able to put all the predictions, projections, and speculations to bed. It’s football time Ladies and Gentlemen!!
