2025 5-Round Titans Mock Draft!
The Tennessee Titans have been extremely underwhelming in 2024, as Brian Callahan's squad is 3-10 and near the bottom of the AFC through 13 games. With just five games remaining, Tennessee's playoff hopes are in the gutter, and a pivotal 2025 offseason awaits.
For the second consecutive season, the Titans season is pretty much over before Christmas, so let's run through my second mock draft. This time, we're doing five rounds!
Round 1, Pick 6: Abdul Carter, EDGE Penn State
The Titans' pass rush has been incredibly inconsistent this season, and it's clear the team needs another dynamic pass rusher opposite Harold Landry. Enter Abdul Carter, who has been highly productive for Penn State in 2024. The junior defensive end has totaled ten sacks and 53 quarterback pressures in 13 games this season and has also posted an elite 90.4 PFF Grade.
Carter has an intriguing blend of speed and power when rushing the passer and has a diverse set of pass-rushing moves. The Penn State standout would take Tennessee's pass rush to the next level and immediately bolster one of the weakest spots on the roster.
Round 2, Pick 37: Tre Harris, WR Ole Miss
Harris has impressed over the last two years at Ole Miss and has tallied 1,030 receiving yards and seven touchdowns for the Rebels this season. The Louisiana native isn't the most explosive player, but his 6'3 frame makes him a fantastic receiver in jump ball situations and in the red zone. Harris would be the perfect complement to Calvin Ridley and provide quarterback Will Levis with a physical WR2. Plus, the last Ole Miss wide receiver the Titans took in the draft was pretty good (sigh).
Round 4, Pick 104: Jonah Monheim, OL USC
Monheim is rapidly becoming one of my favorite under-the-radar prospects in this year's draft class due to his versatility. The Redshirt Senior has served as the Trojan's starting center this season but has also started games as a left tackle, right tackle, and right guard in the past. Monheim has allowed zero sacks and 14 quarterback pressures in 2024, with a 71.2 run-blocking grade.
Starting center Lloyd Cushenberry suffered a season-ending Achilles injury after Tennessee's Week 9 victory over the Patriots. If the 27-year-old misses some time next season as well, Monheim would be a solid option to start in Cushenberry's place. Once Lloyd returns from injury sometime next year, Monheim would be a dependable utility lineman with the potential to develop into a starter down the road.
Round 4, Pick 121: Kobe King, LB Penn State
King has been the leader of Penn State's linebacker room over the last two seasons and is a very well-rounded player. The Michigan native has totaled 72 tackles and 39 defensive stops in 2024 and has also been decent in coverage. King would be a solid Day 3 add who could develop into a starter for the Titans in the future.
Round 5, Pick 146: Jack Nelson, OT Wisconsin
Nelson has served as Wisconsin's starting left tackle since 2022 and is having the best year of his collegiate career in 2024, allowing just one sack and seven quarterback pressures in 393 pass-blocking snaps, along with a 68.6 run-blocking grade. With JC Latham locked in as the left tackle of the future, Nelson would serve as an adequate backup with versatility, as the Redshirt Senior has also started games at right guard.
