BREAKING: James Harden, Sixers exploring Trade

James Harden is picking up his $35 million dollar player option. To Sixers fans, that sounds great as James Harden will return to the team next season. That isn’t the case as James Harden and the 76ers will work to find a trade, meaning the 10 time All-Star will be playing for his fourth NBA team. The news was broken just minutes ago by Shams Charania of The Athletic. The James Harden leaving Philly rumors started immediately after the team lost to the Boston Celtics in the second round of the playoffs. This led to the firing of Head Coach Doc Rivers, who Harden wasn’t the biggest fan off. Even with the new hire of Nick Nurse, Harden wants out of Philly, and took less money to do so. Teams that could be interested in the future hall of famer are the Houston Rockets, Miami Heat, New York Knicks, and the Los Angeles Clippers. A big turn of events as the NBA offseason is just beginning!
