James harden is being Unfair to the 76ers and Daryl Morey!

James Harden has once again requested a trade and starting drama..

Earlier in the offseason, James Harden requested a trade out of Philadelphia due to the handling of his contract. After not being able to formulate a trade for over a month, the 76ers announced that the team will be bringing back Harden for the 2023-24 season. There is one slight problem with that statement though, James Harden didn’t agree to come back…

Requesting a trade is nothing new to James Harden, as he has done it three times over the past two and a half years. He first requested a trade out of Houston, then Brooklyn, and now with the 76ers. Year after year we talk about James Harden and if he will finally get that coveted ring. He has played with some incredible all-time players, including Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul, and Joel Embiid. Yet he has just one finals appearance to show for it. Known by many as one of the biggest playoff chokers ever, Harden has had a history of coming up small in the biggest moments during May. 2023 was no different as Harden’s 76ers were defeated by the Celtics in seven games and he put up a measly nine points in the close-out game. Shortly after this, Harden requested a trade out of Philly, demanding to be sent to the Clippers to play with Kawhi and PG. The drama looked to be over after Philly and LA couldn’t agree to a deal but little did we know James Harden had one more trick up his sleeve…

Earlier today, Shams Charania tweeted a video of Harden bashing his GM Daryl Morey at some type of event. Here is what Harden had to say about the GM who many thought was a good friend of his: “Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of. Let me say that again: Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of.” This frustration and anger towards Morey could very well be because Harden is still on the roster and not in LA. Even though James has the right to be frustrated, the 10-time All-Star is being incredibly unfair to the 76ers and Morey…

You have to remember, Morey was the one who traded Harden to the Nets from the Rockets a couple of years back. Morey has been by Harden’s side for a decade plus now and has built great teams around him. There is no reason to publicly ridicule a guy who has given you so much because you want a little more money. James Harden is being an unprofessional diva, and if Morey doesn’t want to grant his request this time around, that’s perfectly fine…
