Bulls, Nikola Vučević Agree on three year extension

The Chicago Bulls and Center Nikola Vučević are closing in on a three year extension that will pay him $20 million per year. The news was first broken by Shams Charania of the Athletic. Vučević was acquired by the Bulls during the 2021 NBA Trade Deadline and has averaged 17 points per game the last two seasons as the starting center. Vučević was set to hit unrestricted free agent this year, but the Bulls lock up their center before then. $20 Million per year for Vucevic seems like a decent price for a center who stretches the floor well, and an above average defender. The Bulls lock up their center for three more years, and we will see the rest of the moves they make in free agency.
