This Titans Player is having a Career Year, and nobody is talking about it!
The 2024 NFL Season hasn't gone the Tennessee Titans way, as the team is 1-5 through six games and suffered another embarrassing loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Tennessee is on its way to a top-ten draft pick and a third consecutive losing season. The franchise has won just SEVEN games since November 17th, 2022.
Though the Titans haven't lived up to modest expectations in 2024, a few players on the roster have put together solid campaigns, especially right guard Dillon Radunz.
After an up-and-down first couple of years in the league, Radunz has experienced a career turnaround. A strong finish to the 2023 season has continued into this year, as the former second-round pick has quietly been one of the better players on Nick Holz's offense (that bar is really low, lol).
Through six games, Radunz has allowed just two sacks and 11 quarterback pressures. The former NDSU standout has also posted a 62.9 pass-blocking grade in 215 pass-blocking snaps. Radunz has also been formidable in the run game, especially as a puller on power run plays.
Tennessee's right tackle play has been abysmal this season, which has caused Radunz's play to go under the radar. The 26-year-old is constructing a career season in a contract year, but keeping up this play will be the real test for the impending free agent. If Radunz continues to provide steady and competent play on the right side of Bill Callahan's offensive line, general manager Ran Carthon will have discussions about re-signing the former Jon Robinson selection.
