tHe Titans have yet to recover from this Jon Robinson Blunder! (not the AJ Brown Trade)

Former Titans' GM Jon Robinson was a central part of the revitalization of the franchise. Though his untimely exit from Tennessee left a sour taste in many mouths, Robinson did a fine job building the Titans' roster to a playoff contender. But some of JRob's decisions were too atrocious to ignore, leading to his surprising termination last December. Trading Superstar WR AJ Brown destroyed the trajectory of this franchise, but I'd argue this move made by Robinson in the 2020 NFL Draft was even worse...

The Titans selected Georgia Offensive Tackle Isaiah Wilson with the 29th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Tennessee expected Wilson to be the long-term answer at RT and the replacement for Jack Conklin, who signed with the Browns that offseason. Wilson's tenure in Tennessee lasted shorter than a Kardashian marriage, as he was traded to the Miami Dolphins for a late-round draft pick less than a year after he was drafted. The former Bulldog's tenure in Nashville will be remembered for off-the-field issues and three total offensive snaps. The Titans have yet to figure out a solution at RT since this draft pick, and it has haunted them for years...

The Titans' LT situation is messy, but their RT situation isn't much better. Tennessee's Isaiah Wilson gamble failed miserably, and as a result, the right tackle position in Nashville has seen a revolving door of mediocrity. For years, Dennis Kelly was an okay starting option for the Two-Tone Blue at RT, but he never moved the needle. Robinson tried his best to fix this by drafting Ohio State RT Nicholas Petit-Frere in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, but he hasn't been good either. NPF has been average at best for Tennessee and has struggled with injuries and suspensions. To this day, the Titans haven't recovered from Jon Robinson’s Isaiah Wilson mistake, and it’s one of the primary reasons why the franchise struggles to protect the QB…
