Who will be the backup QB for the titans

By: Dharya Sharma

NFL Training Camp is approaching, as most teams have their rookies reporting for camp the week of July 24th. Training Camp is a time for teams to evaluate their rosters, and every position group to get ready for the long season. For the Titans, the biggest position battle will be for backup QB. We all know that Ryan Tannehill will be the Titans starting QB Week 1, but who will be his backup? Malik Willis? Will Levis?

Malik Willis and Will Levis will be battling for the number two QB spot all training camp long. For them, every single rep counts, but who will end up winning the job. Willis is the more experienced guy, as he has been with the Titans a year longer, but his performance last year left a lot to be desired. Levis is the new, shiny toy in Titans land, as many hope and pray that he is the long term answer at QB. Both Levis and Willis are insanely athletic, but both struggle with two things, consistency and accuracy. We all so the struggles that Willis had, but Levis can be wild and inconsistent at times as well. From the footage and whispers we have seen and heard from Titans Minicamp, it seems that Willis has improved and has a slight edge over Levis. That could change quick though if Levis shines in the preseason and training camp. Though the battle will be close, I believe that Will Levis will win the backup QB job, which will mark the end of Malik Willis time in Nashville..
