Tight End is a position that has gained more and more importance every year. Many of the top teams in the league have a terrific tight end, including the Chiefs and 49ers. The Titans have the next great NFL Tight End, and his name is Chig Okonkwo….

Okonkwo was drafted by the Titans in the 5th round of the 2022 NFL Draft and made an immediate impact on a Titans offense that lacked playmakers. Okonkwo totaled 32 catches, for 450 yards and 3 tds in 2023. He did all this despite only starting eight games, as Austin Hooper started most games at TE for Ten last season. Chig showed his big play ability last year with many big 40-yard-plus plays, and his versatility as he even lined up at fullback a couple of times last year. This year, Okonkwo will take over the reins as the starting TE and should make an even bigger impact for Tennessee this year. Hopkins and Burks will be a deadly one-two punch for Tennessee this year, but don’t forget about the sophomore TE out of Maryland…….
