FInal Titans 53-Man Roster Prediction!

The Titans wrapped up their final preseason game on Sunday, defeating the New Orleans Saints 30-27 to cap off an undefeated preseason. To celebrate the end of the preseason, let’s run through one last 53-man roster projection for the Two-Tone Blue!

Quarterbacks (2): Will Levis, Mason Rudolph

Notes: Malik Willis has been traded to the Packers.

Running Backs (4): Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears, Julius Chestnut, Hassan Haskins

Notes: Julius Chestnut is a lock for RB3, but I also think the Titans keep Hassan Haskins due to his special teams play.

Wide Receiver (6): Deandre Hopkins, Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd, Treylon Burks, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Jha’Quan Jackson

Notes: Bryce Oliver is a beast and should be a top practice squad priority.

Tight End (4): Chig Okonkwo, Josh Whyle, David Martin-Robinson, Nick Vannett

Notes: David Martin-Robinson had an excellent preseason, leading all Titans pass catchers in receptions (9) and receiving yards (113). I also think Tennessee keeps Nick Vannett due to his veteran experience, as the top three guys in the TE room are all under 25 years old.

Offensive Line (9): JC Latham, Peter Skoronski, Lloyd Cushenberry, Dillon Radunz, Nicholas Petit-Frere, Daniel Brunskill, Geron Christian, Andrew Rupcich, Jaelyn Duncan

Notes: The starting five is much improved from last season, but the depth on the offensive line is still below average. Daniel Brunskill is a nice versatile depth piece, and Andrew Rupcich was solid in the preseason, but Geron Christian and Jaelyn Duncan don't instill much confidence as the backup tackles. Ran Carthon and Brian Callahan must take a peak at the waiver wire this week.

Defensive Line (5): Jeffery Simmons, T’Vondre Sweat, Sebastian Joseph-Day, Keondre Coburn, Abdullah Anderson

Notes: The top four are locked, but there are some questions for DL5. Isaiah Iton has been my pick for almost the entire preseason, but Abdullah Anderson played well on Sunday and has more veteran experience.

EDGE (4): Harold Landry, Arden Key, Jaylen Harrell, Rashad Weaver

Notes: Jaylen Harrell's impressive camp and preseason earned him the EDGE3 role, while Rashad Weaver's quiet and disappointing month of August caused a demotion. Don't be surprised if Tennessee opts to go with Caleb Murphy over Weaver, but I think the former fourth-round pick sneaks on the roster by the skin of his teeth.

Linebacker (5): Kenneth Murray, Jack Gibbens, James Williams, Otis Reese, Cedric Gray/Luke Gifford

Notes: Chance Campbell suffered a knee injury on Sunday and is out for the season. Tennessee is now incredibly thin at linebacker, as rookie Cedric Gray, veteran Luke Gifford, and Otis Reese are also dealing with injuries. One of Gray and Gifford will likely occupy the final spot at the position, with the other being cut or placed on IR.

Cornerback (6): L’Jarius Sneed, Chidobe Awuzie, Roger McCreary, Jarvis Brownlee Jr., Eric Garror, Gabe Jeudy-Lally

Notes: The top four spots have been locked for weeks, but CB5 and CB6 have been an interesting battle to watch. Eric Garror's potential in the return game and overall solid preseason land him a roster spot, while Gabe Jeudy-Lally barely edges out Tre Avery for CB6. Neither Jeudy-Lally nor Avery was impressive during the preseason, but Jeudy-Lally's potential lands him a spot on the 53-man.

Safety (5): Amani Hooker, Quandre Diggs, Jamal Adams, Elijah Molden*, Matthew Jackson

Notes: Elijah Molden's status is unclear, as the 25-year-old left the game on Sunday to be evaluated for a concussion. If he is healthy, Molden will be Safety 4, and Jackson squeezes in as Safety 5 due to an impressive training camp, leading the team in practice interceptions with three.

Specialists (3): Nick Folk (Kicker), Ryan Stonehouse (Punter), Morgan Cox (LS)
